"Just doesn’t feel the same anymore"
I used to think this brand was solid, but lately it just feels kind of off. The reputation doesn’t really match the vibe anymore, it’s just not something I’d trust much now.

"Refund took sooo long"
I ordered from johnvarvatos.com and ended up sending the item back pretty much right away. The return showed as delivered, but my refund didn’t hit for almost 3 weeks, which felt waaay too long. Customer service did respond, but the updates were generic and didn’t really help much. The clothes are fine, but waiting that long for a refund was super annoying.

"Used to feel more exciting"
I used to really like the styles here, but lately everything feels a bit darker and kind of samey. There are still a few nice jackets here and there, but overall the designs just don’t grab me the way they used to

"I ordered my usual size, but it..."
I ordered my usual size, but it fit totally different than I expected. It was tight around the shoulders and then kind of loose everywhere else, which made it feel awkward. Returning it was a hassle too. For the price, I really dont think the sizing should be this hard to figure out.

"Felt like I had to chase them for help"
I do really like the clothes, but getting any help from customer service was way more of a hassle than it should’ve been. I waited around for a reply and ended up having to follow up just to get a simple answer. It wasn’t the worst experience ever, but it definitely felt like I was being ignored, which was frustrating.

I grabbed this jacket on sale, i’m pleased with myself because it feels way nicer than what I paid for it. It looks good on me, feels more expensive than expected, and the shipping was totally fine. No complaints from me.

I ordered a pair of boots and somehow ended up with a shirt instead. Like, completely wrong item. I reached out to support, but they still haven’t fixed it, which is REALLY frustrating
"Great deal, just wish sale sizes lasted longer"
I picked up a jacket during a promo and felt like the price was really good for what I got. I’m careful about spending, so catching it on sale made the purchase feel worth it. Checkout was simple and quick too. My only complaint is that a lot of the sale sizes were already gone, so I wish there had been a bit more selection.

"Packaging gave me a bad first impression"
The second I saw the box all crushed, I had a feeling this wasn’t going to be great. The shirt looked like it was just shoved in without much care, which was disappointing. For the price, I just expected it to feel a bit more put-together. Not the best first order experience.

"Feels like they cut corners on the fabric"
I was disappointed when I tried this shirt on. The fabric feels scratchy and really thin, not at all like what I expected for the price. It kind of feels like they made it look nicer online than it actually is in person. I don’t think I’d buy this again.

It looks well made and has been holding up okay, though I’m still not totally sure how it’ll do long term. So far, the craftsmanship seems good enough...

I’ve been shopping here for a while and I usually really like their stuff, which is why this was so disappointing. Pretty much everything I had my eye on was sold out again. I want to stay loyal because I genuinely like the brand, but it’s getting frustrating when I can’t actually buy the items I came for.

I was kind of expecting the return to be a hassle because I never fully trust customer service to make things simple, but it actually went smoothly. The process was easy enough and I got it taken care of without much back and forth.

"Easy to use, just a bit slow at times"
I had a good experience using johnvarvatos.com, overall. The menus were easy to figure out, the product pages had solid photos, and, i didn’t feel lost while browsing around.
The only reason I’d probably go with 4 stars, is that a few pages loaded a little slowly for me, especially on mobile. Checkout was simple, though, and I didn’t run into any major problems.

"Really helpful staff"
I had a great experience in the store. The staff was super helpful and didn’t make me feel like I was bothering them, which says a lot. It’s just the right way to treat customers, and I really appreciated it.

I bought a jacket and needed to exchange it, which I thought would be simple. Instead, it turned into this whole process with way too many steps. Support took days to get back to me, and when they finally did, it felt like they were just sending the same copy-and-paste message over and over. It did get sorted out in the end, but it was a lot more frustrating than it needed to be.

"Looks sharp, but I’m not totally convinced"
I ordered a jacket from John Varvatos because it looked really stylish in the photos, when it showed up, I did like the design. The fit was decent too, so at first I thought maybe it was worth the money.
After wearing it a handful of times, though, I started noticing little quality issues. Some of the stitching was already coming loose, and one of the buttons felt like it was barely hanging on, which was disappointing for something in this price range.
It’s not a terrible jacket, and I’ll give them credit for the style, but I’m not sure the quality really backs up the price. I wanted to like it more than I do, but I probably wouldn’t order from them again...

"Pretty helpful customer service"
I thought the sizing issue was going to be a bigger hassle, but customer service ended up helping me out quickly. I assumed the email wait meant it might drag on, but once they got back to me, they sorted everything out and were nice about it. Giving it 4 stars
